How to Draw a Tent Step By Step

Step 1:

• Draw a triangle on a piece of paper. This will be the door of your tent.

Step 2:

• Draw a shape like a slanted rectangle (parallelogram) coming off the top of the triangle. This will look like the roof of the tent.

Step 3:

• Add two small lines on the edges of the roof. These will look like the poles holding the tent up.

Step 4:

• Draw a zig-zag line down the middle of the triangle. This will be the zipper on the tent door.

Step 5:

• Draw two lines from the top corners of the tent down to the ground. These are the ropes holding the tent steady.

Step 6:

• Add small cylinder shapes at the ends of these ropes on the ground. These are the pegs holding the ropes.

Step 7:

• Draw another line from the back corner of the tent down to the ground with a cylinder shape at the end. This is another rope and peg for the tent.

Step 8:

• Finally, color your tent with crayons or colored pencils to make it look bright and fun.
